On Saturday, May 2nd 2026, Vallebona will host a guided excursion dedicated to the harvesting of orange blossoms, an experience that combines nature, tradition and local culture.
The route follows ancient country paths leading to the citrus groves, where participants will walk among blooming trees and experience firsthand the delicate process of collecting the blossoms. During the excursion, insights into processing and distillation will also be provided, a practice that represents a long-standing tradition of the area.
The initiative will be enriched by the participation of Chiara Ferraris, author of the novel The Lady of Neroli, offering an additional narrative and cultural perspective linked to this tradition.
The event is organized by Ligurian Life in collaboration with La Vecchia Distilleria.
The meeting point will be at the Vallebona Tourist Office (IAT), Piazza XX Settembre 2, at 9:30 am.
