The fourth edition of Jazz in Valle, dedicated to John Coltrane and Miles Davis on the centenary of their birth, opens with I Love "Coltrane", a project by the Franck Taschini Quartet.
After exploring the music of Thelonious Monk and Sonny Rollins over the years, alongside original compositions, the group now dedicates its new project to the musical spirit of John Coltrane.
The concert explores some of the music from Coltrane’s landmark work A Love Supreme, moving through to the blues of Equinox, alongside original compositions by the quartet.
A musical journey born from the encounter between the personal artistic vision of the four musicians and the legacy of one of the most important saxophonists in jazz history.
