An intense and moving journey through the images of Sebastião Salgado, one of the most important social photographers of our time.

The documentary explores some of his most significant projects: The Other Americas, focused on Latin America; Sahel: The End of the Road, on the dramatic conditions of African populations; Workers, dedicated to laborers around the world; Migrations, on major human migrations; and Genesis, an exploration of unspoiled corners of the planet.

The film also tells the story of Salgado’s personal experience with the reforestation of the Mata Atlântica, a project carried out with his wife, which led to the planting of over 4 million trees and the restoration of a once-devastated forest ecosystem.
