L'anima in fiore

Area Arte Vallebona presents L’anima in fiore, a solo exhibition by Fabio Lazzaro dedicated to floral macro photography and its connection with memory, inner experience and the human condition.

The exhibition grew out of a personal journey that began more than seven years ago, following the loss of the artist’s father. Photography became a means of moving through grief and giving form to a path of reflection and self-awareness.

In flowers, Fabio Lazzaro finds a point of connection between memory and rebirth. Through macro photography, he explores details often invisible to the eye, together with the relationship between light and shadow, fragility and strength.

The sequence of images takes visitors from the first black-and-white photographs, connected with a period of grief and introspection, to colour, which becomes an expression of rebirth, hope and renewed awareness. The exhibition also reflects on the transformative power of beauty and art.

The exhibition will open on Saturday 5 September at 5.00 pm in Piazza XX Settembre with a meeting with the artist and a short themed theatrical reading, offering the audience reflections and insights into the deeper meaning of the exhibition.

The reading is curated by actress and director Silvia Villa, accompanied by the poetic voices of some of her actors and students from FormAZIONE Lab – Teatro della Luna:

The exhibition will then be open to visitors at Area Arte Vallebona from 6 to 27 September, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
