The fourth edition of Jazz in Valle concludes with Miles & Trane 26/26, a project by the Alberto Mandarini Quartet dedicated to Miles Davis on the centenary of his birth.
The concert retraces some of the most significant stages of his artistic journey, from bebop to the lyricism of Kind of Blue, from the elegance of Cool Jazz to modal experimentation, through to the electric period of Bitches Brew and beyond. A musical journey that reflects the constant evolution of an artist who redefined the language of jazz and profoundly influenced contemporary music.
Performing this repertoire is a quintet of highly experienced musicians from the Italian and international jazz scene, brought together to celebrate the legacy and musical vision of Miles Davis.
