The second evening of Jazz in Valle features the Flavio Boltro Quartet with The Essence, a project that brings together four musicians united by the desire to explore jazz as an open and constantly evolving musical language.
The programme consists of original compositions rooted in jazz and improvisation, enriched by the musical experiences and influences developed by each member of the quartet. African American roots intertwine with ethnic and folk traditions, extending to African influences and the expressive freedom of free jazz.
The result is a distinctive musical language in which composition and improvisation alternate and complement one another, creating a concert that is always different and an engaging listening experience.
