Photography exhibition by Debora Roggeri

A journey that goes beyond showcasing images, inviting visitors to embark on a true inner path. With The Inner Journey, Debora Roggeri – yoga and meditation teacher – brings to Vallebona a project that weaves together art, spirituality, and personal experience.

The rooms of Area Arte are transformed into an itinerary that guides visitors through photographs of travels and pilgrimages in India and Tibet, evocative texts, encounters, and moments of meditation. It is not the works themselves that take center stage, but those who observe them: each image becomes a mirror to reflect on the mystery of existence, the preciousness of life, and humanity’s most ancient question: Who am I?

The exhibition is not only a display but a continuous experience. For three weeks, conferences, concerts, and meditations will alternate, turning the exhibition into a shared journey towards awareness and the often-forgotten beauty that resides in the heart of each of us.

The artist
Born in Bordighera, Debora Roggeri moved to Asia in 2001, spending 14 years between India and Thailand, living in ashrams and monasteries to deepen her study of yoga, meditation, and traditional texts. She has taught in Italy and abroad, participated in volunteer projects, and led courses and retreats.
