Tracce di jazz: il suono dell'immagine, a collective photography exhibition presented by the Spazivisivi Association of Sanremo and hosted at Area Arte as part of the Jazz in Valle festival.

The exhibition stems from the encounter between two artistic languages that share the ability to capture fleeting moments: music and photography. Through the works of Rita Baio, Ilario Cedro, William Monaco and Alessandro Negri, the exhibition explores jazz not only as a musical genre but also as a visual experience shaped by rhythm, light, movement and emotion.

The photographs portray the dialogue between musicians and their instruments, the expressive gestures of performance, the intensity of improvisation and the intimate atmosphere of jazz clubs, alternating black-and-white images with warm tones, contrasts and plays of light. Each photographer offers a personal interpretation, providing a unique perspective on the relationship between sound and image.

The exhibition invites visitors to experience a journey where photography extends the emotion of live music, transforming its energy into visual memory and creating a dialogue between different art forms.
