Materia e Luce

Group exhibition

Materia e Luce is an exhibition that brings together three artists united by an informal research capable of transforming the surface of the artwork into a living and mutable territory. The works interact through stratifications, rhythm and textures that become narrative elements, while light acts as a revealing force, highlighting reliefs, dissolutions and chromatic variations.

The exhibition invites visitors to a slow, attentive observation of tensions and harmonies on the surface. Matter becomes the protagonist: it is consumed, regenerated, and vibrates under the gaze. What emerges is a sensitive path through three artistic languages that share the urgency to explore the expressive power of informal painting as a place of continuous metamorphosis.

The Artists

Enzo Consiglio

Born in Polistena and a student of Giuseppe Balbo, he began exhibiting at a very young age in Italy and abroad. His painting, characterized by gesture, transparency and Mediterranean tones, embraces figures, nudes and landscapes.

Carlo Introvigne

Originally from Imperia, where he lives and works, he has long devoted himself to a pictorial path focused on abstraction and material research, also refined through the technique of fresco.He attends the G. Balbo Academy, becoming a member. He has collaborated with Italian and French galleries and taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions. His works are included in private collections across Europe and the United States.

Pina Morlino

Painter born in Gravina di Puglia and active in Bordighera, she trained at the “Riviera dei Fiori” Painting Academy under the guidance of Giuseppe Balbo. She served as its president for many years, contributing to the artistic development of the local community. Her works are held in private collections in Italy and abroad, as well as in the Civic Museum of Sanremo. Critics and scholars have written about her work, noted for its sensitive use of matter and its strong pictorial intensity. She has been included in theDizionario degli Artisti Liguri and in theArchivio della Quadriennale di Roma.

The initiative is part of the project U fögu du bambin of Vallebona, supported by Regione Liguria and the Ministry of Tourism within the National Tourism Fund “Natale in Liguria”.
